| Delegate of Mexico, The fact that the zeta cartel, along with other cartels control most of your country is a very grave issue that should be adressed properly, however, the fact that 30% of your police force because of crruption or incompetence demonstrates how inefective your hiring standards really are, perhaps the delegate should consider targeting the social problems that allow such crimes to prosper instead of the criminals that as one goes down, two more are ready to take his place. | |

The delegation of Israel Tottlay supports this idea, this resolution, if passees would be for a great help, we, as a universal organization wouldn't loose so many kids for the world of the drugs and our world in a few years would be a better place!

| Delegates, This is a serious problem in MOST Latin American countries, as in Bolivia currently we are the 3rd largest Coca producer (Main ingredient of Cocaine), and unforunatly it is the most profitable product our people have. Added to the problem this drug abuse has been shaping and will contiue to shape Bolivia's furture, if no help is giving. With many hopes the representative of Bolivia supports Mexico for this idea. | |

| El Salvador is happy to support Mexico in this situation as El Salvador also has some main problems with drugs. If no solution is given and no help offered our countries will continue to be like this. thanks Bruna Milcent | |

| The delegate of Bolivia realizes the issue of drug trafficking in Latin America, and expresses deep concern towards this issue. But, the delegate would also like to point out that, unfortunately, the production of coca leafis the ONLY income of Bolivian farmers, and it is not considered a drug in most of the country. If the eradication of drug trafficking is going to take place, Bolivia will need assistance of countries that are fighting it, because Bolivia doesn't have enough resources to continue without the production of such item. Bolivia will need assistance and help of other countries to install alternative agricultural productions that will lead to the stimulation of new employment and will offer enough money to sustent the employees. | |

Drugs make a lot more money than taxes. Gringos use lots of drugs and spend lots of money. So the Zetas can buy better guns than the Mexican government can for the police. Since the US people are giving the money for the drugs and the guns, maybe the US government should give money to buy guns for the Mexican police.

| Has the delegate of Mexico considered providing new jobs in the country? This might reduce the drug problem in Mexico, since one of the reasons people produce and sell drugs is because they have no other economical income. | |

| The problem is that drug trafficking has a huge profit, while the jobs that most of these drug dealers would get dont pay nearly as much. | |

| Delegates, If the delegation wishes to try to elimanate all trafficking of drugs it will take a very long time, the delegation must consider the goverenments of others states during the efforts that are being taken, to make sure no government may suffer. | |

| Delegates,
Remember that for this resolution you will need an outstanding solution for this problem, since there are too much solutions but just a few of them work!!

| Delegate of Bolivia, It will, of course, take a long time to eliminate all drugs. The delegate of Panama is quite sure that all governments will like this resolution. No governer wants drugs in their countries, it is bad for the nation and everyone involved! | |

| Delegation of Mexico,
As the delegation of Cambodia has stated in Autralia's resolution this issue is very important. Drug is a very intense issue who currently affects almost all the nations around not only Asia's territory but all around the world. Cambodia hopes that further nations from the America's caucus help to take measures on trying to end Drug wars.

For this solution, centers of of taking care of young people would be a great help, and meetings with the parents, in order to they be able to TALK to their kids

| "for this solution, centers of of taking care of young people would be great help" mexico is not an underdeveloped county enough that it does not have schools, that have drug educational programs. as stated before this is not nearly enough to solve mexicos problems. "young people" are having no choice but to adapt to the hostile land, what we need is un support on the drug trade through mexico, so that it would be reduced, and "young people" not be exposed as much. | |

| But we will create rehabs and facilities that people already facing these addictive problems could go to and get some help, by doing so it will help prevent some future purchases of drugs | |

| Delegate of Mexico is glad to see the delegate's concern about this problem, but I would like to remind the delegate of Israel that the kids involved in illegal drug may have never met their parents, or the majority of them live in poverty so no access to school is granted most of the time. | |
