Possible Topics

Delegates,

This is the time when you all begin to research your countries and the issues you will be dealing with. Here is where you can post any articles, ideas for topics or resos. and other information. The Chair and Vice-Chair will be looking up articles and later in the week we will be posting possible topics for Delegates to look into. Please do your research and know your countries position on topics that will arise in the future. If the proper research is done, a great MUN with plentiful and interesting debate will result.

Delegates,

Greece will most likely be discussing the economic/financial issue that is currently occuring in the country, as it will not only affect Greece itself, but many of its neighbouring countries.

Germany's Topic will be dealing with the immigration issues occuring in Germany. We have lots of immigrants.

russia has some ideas for mun and those are
1. becoming part of nato
2. working with easi to achive missil defence system

Besides joining NATO, the Russian delegation would like to discuss the START (Strategic Arms Reduction treaty). We would like to have other nations sign it. A meeting was scheduled but it can still be discussed. You can download the full audio file of the meeting in English at:

Well put delegate; Russia has been an ally of NATO since 1991 and has allocated its military forces for the organization. Since members are already familiar with Russia, it should be no hassle to enter. On the 22nd, Hillary Clinton said:

“The United States does not believe that NATO and Russia are adversaries,”
“We believe that the best way to achieve this is by reinforcing the pillars that have supported European security for decades, not by negotiating new treaties, as Russia has suggested.”

We are going to deal with Greece´s financial crisis, which is afecting the Europeon Union so we will try do expel Greece from EU.
