- President during the war in Iraq, the invasion of Afghanistan, September 11th and starter of the War on Terror, creator of the term " Axis of evil" ( Iraq, Iran, NK)
IRAQ WAR:
- 3750 american soldiers died, 27000 wounded; 70000-15000 iraquian civilians died
- US$ 3 trillion dollars in 5 years of occupation
WILL BE TRIALED ON: WAR CRIMES
- INVASION OF IRAQ
--> deposition of Saddam Hussein, oil interests etc
- ABU GHRAIB TORTURES/GENERAL COMMANDS
2) Mr.OMAR HASSAN AHMAN Al-Bashir
- Current President of Sudan ( since June 30th 1989)
- In power through a military coup
- President during Darfur conflict, Second Sudanese Civil War
- Linked to oil interests in Africa
- Trialed by the ICC, but never signed Rome Statute
- Accused of sponsoring Janjaweed militia and supporting the North during the civil war
- Accused of permitting illegal smugling of weapons from China
- insufficient evidence to prosecute him for genocide
DARFUR:
- 400000 deaths, 200000 refugees
- Mass rapes, muders, aniquillation with the use of helicopters ( Janjaweed should use camels!),
spread of terror, hunger etc
- Refugee camps in Chad
WILL BE TRIALED ON: CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
- GENOCIDE IN DARFUR REGION
- SPONSORING OF MILITIA
- ILLEGAL ARMS TRADE
