As I have seen, there has not been a strong focus on Saudi Arabia's topic within the forum and during our meetings. Here's a website you can all learn about it

Why delegate? Why do Arab countries worry more about oil and gas while Lebanon is being destroyed right next to them?

Arab countries should never forget that Lebanon is being destroyed. It is a nation as any other one and the Arab countries should always protect Middle Eastern states. However, it is totally in order to decide upon increasing the oil productions. The delegate should limit this increase in relation to the exploration of new oil sources because it might damage the ecosystem. While the Iranian nuclear program is not ratified, which the Islamic Repulic of Iran believes that is urgent, it will be very positive and helpful to the nations to produce more oil to start to combat the energy crisis in the region. Therefore, Iran is totally in agreement with Saudi Arabia in this issue.

The delegate of Saudi Arabia believes that there is a missunderstanding. OPEC is concerned about oil production and its benefit for the exporting country. Saudi Arabia is aware of Lebanon and is concerned as well, but this Lebanon issue should be resolved by other organizations that focuses on the problems present in Lebanon, which doesn't include oil.

The delegation of Egypt believes that every source of e energy should be used carefully. Oil is of great importance to our world, so we need to use in a way that we will be able to supply our countries necessity but still be able to have it in the future.

We must consider that the clause number 2 of Saudi Arabia's resolution was absurd. Each country should produce as much oil as they can? This is completely against world enviroment and is disrespectful to our sons and grandsons that would not have oil to use.

By the deciding to amend the resolution in relation to the exclusion of clause 2 which stated that countries should all produce oil to the maximum capacity the delegates of the Middle East ensured that a such valuable non-renewable resource such as oil can be present in Earth for a long time, by this, countries can have oil as a font of energy for a longer time.

This amendment was, if not the most, one of the most important amendments that we made in Middle Eastern caucus, since oil is a material that is used in everything, and by this amendment we assured that this resource will be spent only if its necessary.

If the oil exploitations were maximized then the delegates would be ignoring the fact that oil is an not a renewable resource and can provide benefits to all Middle Eastern nations in their economic area and in combating poverty by providing electricity. It was important to veto the resolution of Saudi Arabia, so that prosperity can be finally established in our region.
