| The Central American 4 (CA4) is the border control agreement between El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua. This agreement states that any citizen may travel freely across borders without completing any entry or exit formalities at the immigration checkpoint. It has a special exception for United States and Mexico citizens, in which have a great facility of entering and leaving these countries specially El Salvador. With this El Salvador would like to state that in 2006, when Bush was in command of the United States, 3 US citizens were arrested in separate incidents for firearms violation. As I believe this would not happen if Obama was already in charge. As a concern it’s illegal to have a firearm in the country, but many gangs have access to automatic weapons, firearms and unfortunately military-style hardware. I am also aware that El Salvador is a gang epicenter and with that in August 15th 2010, a six years old girl was murdered in her way to school in one of the most save areas of El Salvador, making every single citizen fear. Just to remind in 2006 El Salvador had up to 3,928 murders and this numbers just went up as the years passed. El Salvador has a great amount of illegal transportation of cocaine for Mexico and other foreign countries. With the facility of the CA4, drugs are exported and imported everyday without being stopped, causing the transportation easier and thing not safety. To remind, El Salvador is kindly asking all countries to help improve our security and the protection and safety of our country. As if the gangs and drugs transshipment are ended, other countries not just El Salvador will have numerous quantity of problems ended and a more safety country. Thanks, Bruna Milcent | |

| http://articles.latimes.com/2010/sep/11/world/la-fg-salvador-funes-20100911 12 murder victims a day is too much for people to stand! How many US soldiers have died in Iraq? Less than 4,000 in 7 years of war! In El Salvador, they have more than that die every single year because of the war on drugs. El Salvador is a small country. The drugs are not their problem. Most of these drugs are being bought and used in the United States. They are coming from Mexico and so are the drug cartels. This drug mafia is uniting with El Salvador's criminals and taking advantage of all the guns in El Salvador that stayed from the civil war (Cold War) that ended in 1992. These guns were mainly given by the United States to fight the marxist nationalists who were fighting for justice in El Salvador in the 1980s. El Salvador is a tiny country and needs help to fight this global problem. It is a global problem with a global solution so the UN needs to help. | |

| http://www.bilaterals.org/spip.php?article17160 The fact that there are so many people on so little land in El Salvador, the fact that they tolerate lawlessness and murder hurts companies like mines that try to make $$ for El Salvador. | |

El Salvador needs to end the violence so it can develop!

Reintegration in El Salvador might have been more successful if a long-term approach had been taken and sufficient services had been provided to mitigate the psycho-social impacts of war." "... El Salvador peace process for the 1980-1992 conflict. Disarmament was a key issue in the El Salvador conflict, however the reintegration of ex-combatants was not successful and the issue of guns in civilian hands was not addressed with a resulting explosion of violence in the post-accord period, and to this day."

| The delegate of Bolivia agrees with the delegates of El Salvador, especially because the delegates believe that the citizens must feel safe within their own country. The delegate of Bolivia believes that any immediate measures should be taken to promote safety in El Salvador, therefore reducing significantly the attacks previously stated by the delegates and the homicide rates in the country. | |

| As the delegate of Mexico you have our full support, many of the drug problems Mexico and US are facing is because of El Savador, being that most of the drugs are coming from there. | |

| Thank you Mexico for your support. You should be supporting El Salvador because both countries share problems. But most of the drugs are not coming from El Salvador. They are being transported through El Salvador to get to Mexico from Colombia and it is Mexican drug cartels that are operating in El Salvador. El Salvador has problems with violence and gangs, but these are worse when you add the drug traffickers from Mexico. | |

| Have the delegates of El Salvador considered asking for aid from the United Nations to help stop this problem? New security measures have high costs and will be difficult to maintain. | |
