"The issue to which Japan will dedicate it's attention is that of the integration of the State of Japan, Federative Republic of Brasil, Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of India, and one African nations as permanent members of the United Nation’s Security Council."

The African Union was unable to come to a consensus, but Egypt and Nigeria where the two main candidates.

Support the G4(+1) Movement.

Certainly, Egypt would be honored to join these great nations that should be, without question, included as permanent member s of the UN Security Council. These nations are involved in the main discussions around the world and are developed countries that perform important actions that reflect in the entire world.

The delegate of Nigeria believes that Nigeria should have the right to have a permanent seat in the security council, representing all of Africa because of how the country have been playing peace keeping operations across the world. The french president, Nicolas Sarkozy stated: "There should be no hypocrisy; we can no longer manage the 21st century all alone. Africa is our future and the continent must no longer be excluded. It is no longer possible to address major world issues without the presence of Africa. Our destiny is inseparable." on June 1 of this year. Nigeria would be the perfect country to represent Africa in the security council.

delegates, nigeria joined the united nations on 14 November 1960, when the organization had only 99 memberships, and since then nigeria has been an active member of the united nations, nigeria is the largest and most populous country in africa, nigeria has also been a mediator in many african conflicts trying to ensure the initial purpose of the united nations of maintaining international peace and security. Nigeria is a country with power, and if it is trust with becomeing a permenent member of the security council will represent africa and use its power to fight for what is right.

According to the delegation of Japan's resolution, since the African Union seems to have not come to a consensus, The country which should become part of the UNSC shall be voted upon at the General Assembly. Remembering that the candidates that were strong parties in the African Union and with most capability of representing the African continent were Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa. The delegation of Japan wishes to count with each of the delegates of these three nations as partners for this worldwide cause.

Thank you, and the delegation of Japan wishes prosper.
